Youth Advisory Council Goals

  • To train young people on how to be leaders on the issues they burn for.
  • To help foster extreme and beneficial youth-adult partnerships, as well as relationships among youth participants.
  • To accomplish goals beyond one person’s imagination; we work as a team.
  • To give young people a voice in the world, causing awesome changes to occur.
  • To provide young people with the opportunities and resources to create social change.
  • To create collaboration among Hampton Roads’ youth.
  • To advocate violence prevention throughout the state on local and political levels.
